This is the Forrest floor that we created before we added the trees to the backdrop

We created the effect by using textured rollers and a variety of shades of brown and ochres. This allowed us the to create depth and variation relatively quickly.

We also added shows to the ground as a finishing touch

Hunting For Bears (2012)

Hunting For Bears was a short film made by the London Film School. We create two backdrops taken from pictures of the woods where they had previously filmed on location. These were then placed behind the windows of the cabin that was built in the studio.
We used textures rollers to create these drops and each one took us two days to complete.
